Dear Back or Hip Pain Suffers,
I've just spent two very enjoyable days at the Back Pain Show in London meeting lots and lots of great people. My colleague Raj from Sai Nutrition who has an amazing pain clinic joined me. Together we worked brilliantly.
Raj uses Laser (CLRT) which stimulates the cranial nerves that control the perception of pain. He also uses SCENAR which uses biofeedback signalling that stimulates the bodies own healing mechanisms to overcome and alleviate pain while SOUND harmonises and energises the nervous, lymphatic and chakric systems, so the body can heal.
Almost everyone experienced a reduction in pain, some total relief and left us looking brighter and smiling - and I think with hope. Nearly everyone I spoke to recognised they had restricted movement and were over-compensating to ease their pain. Also most were aware of the tightness and tension in the area of pain. This is good news because at least some awareness is present.
Some people were beginning to realise that a lifestyle change was necessary to maintain the benefits longer term and to start living their life again.
Also, I wasn't surprised by how many people said that their pain started with one thing and then a downward spiral commenced and now they had "pain everywhere" (their words). This saddened me, but also confirmed that my own personal experience is not unique to me. Sadly there was much despondency and disbelief that there was a solution to their pain. I knew exactly how they felt, as I hit rock bottom following 7 years of pain. But, as I always say, "seek and you shall find" and for the many who invested in trying something new with a very short treatment with Raj (but still got results) and invested in my CD, I totally believe they will.
This year had an exceptionally high proportion of women with sacroiliac and pelvis issues. I was told by my GP that the sacroiliac can be a weak area in women and the show certainly proved that.
A great highlight of the show was meeting John and Rob from UK health radio, they both interviewed me which I appreciated very much indeed. Their radio show is going from strength to strength as people realise how great it is, go on give it a try!
The Back Pain Show is an annual event in London usually in February. So if you're reading this and suffering, both Raj and I together offer a whole body (holistic) approach. We believe that working mind and body together does get results and, as we said on the day, "in results we believe".
We hope to see you at the Back Pain Show next year - but I'd rather you tried something new before then, life really is too short to put up with back pain! I hated the out of control feeling I had, set the intension and make it happen, whatever you choose to do, as long as it feels right inside you're definitely heading in the right direction, all the best to you.
